Born and raised in Cowra, Julie has lived in Cowra all her life and trained at Cowra District Hospital in 1976. Julie came to Weeroona in 1982 as a volunteer and started nursing shifts 1983. She has been part of the family ever since. Married with 2 sons, Julie hobbies include quilting/patchwork, camping (as often as possible), and travelling in her caravan.
