Sarah's role as Clinical Liaison acts as a key link between the care team and external healthcare providers, attending doctors'rounds and coordinating clinical communication. The role includes managing high-impact, high-prevalence issues, such as restrictive practices, and supporting staff with complex clinical matters to ensure safe, high-quality care. Sarah began working at Weeroona Aged Care Residence as an Assistant in Nursing in 2016, later completing a horticultural traineeship with Cowra Shire Council before returning to Weeroona in 2019. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Sturt University, as well as Certificates in Individual Support and Horticulture. She further enhanced her expertise with the ACIPC Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control Course in 2025. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, creative writing, playing video games and piano, and spending time with her husband, two cats, and three dogs.
